I build this Miyata Elevation 12,000' inspired on Greg Herbolds 1993 bike.

During his illustrious career, Greg Herbold rode many, many Miyata bikes in several setups and configurations. At some point during the 1993 season he rode his Miyata in this configuration, with all the sponsored stuff in extreme color combinations.

This Miyata frame incorporates bonded carbon tubes with aluminium lugs on the front triangle, with an all steel rear triangle.

Ringle stuff like hubs, seatpost, stem and QR, Onza H2O brakes with Mojo hanger up front and Magura HS33 Race Line for the rear.

Shimano M-900 components with Grip Shift shifters and a Rock Shox Mag 21 SL Titanium.

The only parts missing are the Onza Porcupine tyres, which i haven't got my hands on so far..
