The Ultimate from Yeti has always been high on my personal wishlist, so when i got the change on purchasing this piece, i just couldn't resist. Originally painted in black, it's state was terrible, so I decided to give it a full repaint in my favourite colors..
Of course also a new decalset made by Gil from retrodecals.
The frame has the "team" style dropouts, which indicates that is was a later model, probably late 1993, on of the last build.
For the build I used several iconic components from the early days, but not fixating on making it "time correct", just to build an awesome bike that I can actually ride with..
Check the polished Cook's crankset and Bullseue hubs just blinging in the daylight.
